Some extended Reading for 6th Form. A dystopian look at the future with a surprise / cliche ending, depending on how many Sci-Fi films you've seen. This is an extended and more detailed version of a story I originally wrote for my KS4 French classes. Extended exposure to the Imperfect! The second resource is an interactive cloze text featuring a section of the story. All the missing words are verbs in the Imperfect.
A set of questions for relative beginners to ask the FLA or perhaps a teacher who is a native speaker. Pupils should note the answers and then use the enclosed writing-frame to write a portrait of the person they have interviewed.
Interactive drag and drop practice of 10 equations relating to force and motion. Will work on PC or IW. Made this for my son who is revising for his GCSEs.
2 self-marking, interactive gap-fill exercises based on curiosities from the news. In each case the students must supply the missing verbs in the Imperfect from the list given. Will work on IW or PC.
Set of questions covering typical Yr 8 topics with answers for students to match up. There are however two answers for every question and students have to identify both possible answers.
Interactive drag-and-drop IW activity for practising key verbs. The activity has 50 verbs embedded, but will select at random 10 verbs to practise each time it is opened. With any luck it will never be the same activity twice!
4 short texts in which characters from films talk about their favourite films. The language provides a model to help students then answer a series of questions about their favourite films.
