This resource (originally written for EDUQAS) contains 10 pieces of film music. All questions are based on past paper questions. As it is based on EDUQAS, there are 12 marks per piece (WJEC awards 9 marks per question), however it has the benefit of extending the higher achievers.

A resource, originally written for a different exam board, but adapted for OCR.
It covers rhythm and pitch dictation practice, as well as general theory practice (keys/chords/harmony/tonality/texture etc), all areas covered in the OCR syllabus.
There are 2 questions on vocal music, and although this is not in the OCR syllabus, the questions still provide invaluable practice.

This resource gives an overview of the work of Sondheim.
It discusses his characteristic musical style, with recommended works to focus on.
Additionally there are 4 SAMS, based on the type of questions that students will come across in their exam. A great deal of research has gone into creating these questions.
Answers are provided at the end of the booklet, although these answers are by no means exhaustive. I know that all of the expert teachers out there will no doubt find extra answers to some of the questions I have set.

A new fantastic resource based on Section 1 of the EDEXCEL A Level Music exam.
All cues are examined, with very similar questions to previous past papers. All answers are provided.
The first 2 questions feature part of the full score and the other questions skeleton scores, or very short extracts. All questions require aural skills in answering.
(PLEASE NOTE THERE IS A RHYTHMIC ERROR IN THE SKELETON SCORE OF MARION so an extra question to correct the error has been added)
