A resource, originally written for a different exam board, but adapted for OCR. It covers rhythm and pitch dictation practice, as well as general theory practice (keys/chords/harmony/tonality/texture etc), all areas covered in the OCR syllabus. There are 2 questions on vocal music, and although this is not in the OCR syllabus, the questions still provide invaluable practice. The screenshots give a good idea of content. This resource gives an overview of the work of Sondheim. It discusses his characteristic musical style, with recommended works to focus on. Additionally there are 4 SAMS, based on the type of questions that students will come across in their exam. A great deal of research has gone into creating these questions. Answers are provided at the end of the booklet, although these answers are by no means exhaustive. I know that all of the expert teachers out there will no doubt find extra answers to some of the questions I have set.
