Writing and speaking preparation for communicating what you did last weekend. The teacher presentation guides pupils carefully through each step with modelled answers. The vocabulary sheet is also carefully differentiated and pupils are encouraged to be independent and add more phrases. A storyboard sheet is provided so pupils can practice with different partners using their sheet as a prompt. There is also a worksheet with fun puzzles reinforcing the past tense. This is ideal for assessment preparation. It has been designed for "what you did last weekend" but it would be to change to "what did you do in the holidays"

Consolidation exercise to check pupils understand pronouns, auxiliary verbs and past participles. This is a fun exercise with a supporting teacher PPT to address areas of weakness and explain grammar rules. There is support on the worksheet but this can be removed to stretch pupils. If it is used as a test the teacher supporting PPT provides the solution so ideal for tests to be self assessed or peer assessed. The worksheet is easy to print and edit.
