The teacher presentation is a summary of 20 school rules using modal verbs. This is great for revision. There are two tests. In one test the pupils match the English statement to the German phrase in a grid. Alternatively the grid could be cut up and used in a kagan "Quiz Quiz trade" activity. The second test is translation from English to German. There is differentiated support whereby the number of letters provided for each word is provided. This works well as reinforcement to assess recall of the vocabulary.

Example completed for the first question. Ideal for reinforcing holiday vocabulary too. The worksheet is A4 and two copies of the activity is on one sheet. Text boxes are editable and easy to transfer to other applications.
Vocabulary frame to write or talk about a holiday in the past tense. This resource is easy to edit and to print. It includes prompts for time markers, countries, duration, travel methods, who you went with, what you did, opinions and an example paragraph using the template.
Ideal for consolidation of this key grammar point. To use as a starter, plenary or revision. Worksheet is easy to print and there are two crosswords per sheet.
7 short phrases to solve involving pronoun, auxiliary verb and past participle.
Included are an array of resources to introduce the Olympic Games.
- There is a teacher presentation that includes a slide with 7 key questions about the games to check pupils' knowledge or a task that can be in the ICT suite for pupils to research. It could also be set as a homework task. Included also in this presentation is a thinking skills match up exercise revealing key Olympic facts. The teacher presentation also contains a list of all events, a further slide is included which shows which sports go with jouer/faire. There is also a speaking task here based on "tu aimes" with "jouer/faire" + sport. There is a slide with links to two authentic websites to find out more info.

There are four resources here to reinforce, revise and test daily routine vocab in the present tense. There is a match up activity of 15 phrases English to German. There is a vocab sheet which sets a written task for pupils to write their own timeline of their daily routine. There is also a word puzzle where the key phrases are jumbled, pupils rearrange these phrases demonstrating recall of the phrases. Ideal as starters, plenaries, tests, homework or revision. The solution to the puzzle is provided. The resources can be easily edited or printed.
A double-sided writing frame to write about clothes habits. This is a comprehensive list including; clothing, colours, accessories, footwear, sentence starters, opinions and example sentences in the present, past and conditional tense. The resource is easy to edit and print. ideal for independent writing in class or for homework.
There is also a reading and writing activity. Pupils read a short passage on a celebrity's style. The outcome is to improve writing accuracy, revise clothes, adjectival agreements and opinions. There are 3 copies of this Passage on one worksheet and the pupils are to find the 10 errors. This is highly suitable to starters, plenaries and revision activities. It is easy to edit too. The resource is accompanied by a teacher PowerPoint and is a good introduction of how to use the writing frame. The summary slide provides thought for pupils as to how they can improve the text even further.
New Specification - First examination 2018
This resource would work well for pupils or teachers when performing self-assessment, peer assessment or pupil assessment. The exam board terminology has not been edited in order for pupils to familiarise themselves with the specification criteria. There is a box containing useful web links for independent study and a summary table for marks to be recorded and strengths and targets to be recorded. It is easy to edit the PPT to suit your personal needs. The resource has been designed to be printed double sided for each tier - pupil and teacher friendly.
Pupils listen to the song “Spider Cochon” and complete a gap-fill listening challenge. This is a fun activity that can be used with all age groups and reinforces the skill of listening for key sounds and following a script. The teacher PPT clearly displays the solutions taking pupils through the song step by step. Pupils love to sing the song together and it lends itself to creative work whereby pupils can create the next verse.
Listening is often the skill pupils find most challenging and this fun activity can help to challenge barriers to learning. This would be great for a taster lesson. Pupil and teacher friendly.
Revision lesson, revision sheet and exam to assess reading. The revision sheet could also be used to support writing, speaking and listening assessments. This is suited go lower ability learners with lots of support provided. It is easy to edit and to print.

Attached are two resources to improve reading and writing skills. The word cloud is an excellent way to consolidate and stretch language. The reading article has a comprehension exercise whereby pupils find 20 expressions in the text. There are also two writing questions. Pupils can use the prompt material in the reading article and the vocabulary from the word cloud to formulate their response to the written questions. Great for the topic of clothes and fashion.
Both resources are easy to print. They are destined for AS candidates but would stretch A and A* GCSE candidates.
These two resources help to consolidate vocabulary and build reading skills. The word cloud helps to revise vocabulary or indeed introduce key topic vocab. The reading exercises are based on an authentic reading article.

Pupils can colour in the pairs or use a code in the matching boxes. Solution provided in teacher presentation. Easy to edit too.
2 crosswords - clues in English answers in German assessing pupils' knowledge of analogue time. The solutions are provided for both. Great for plenaries, revision or vocabulary tests.
There is also a number puzzle where pupils unscramble phrases to write the correct time phrase in German.
Also included is a vocab test where pupils translate 8 times from German to English, and 3 times from English to German. The solution is provided.
This resource would be suitable for lower ability classes and is differentiated appropriately. The resource is easy to edit and is 2 A4 sheets. The first exercise requires learners to match the correct pronoun to the correct part of the auxiliary verb. The second exercise asks pupils to recall the three verb groups. The third exercise requires pupils to change infinitives into past participles. The second sheet of the worksheet requires pupils to match sentences in the past tense to the English translation, to use the correct auxiliary verb in context and finally there is an exercise whereby pupils decide if a sentence is in the past or the present tense.
Crossword of 24 qualifying countries - clues in English - solution provided. Easy to print.
Word search of 24 qualifying countries - 2 versions provided. In the first version Spanish is provided and pupils find the Spanish. In the second version pupils need to translate from English to Spanish first before finding the Spanish.
Fun revision of European countries and great end of term activity. This is suitable for classwork, homework or indeed cover work.
Excellent resources to reinforce and test vocabulary knowledge. Great revision for reading and listening exams or these resources can be used for independent work to support your GCSE course. The advantages are numerous. The teacher presentation (PowerPoint) is accompanied by a 20 page student workbook (PDF).
All exercises come with solutions on the teacher presentation, these are easy to correct and students can quickly assess areas for improvement and key strengths. The exercises may also be used as starters or plenaries to support your existing schemes of work. The templates I have used are easy for you to edit for your own purpose.

Engaging starter or plenary to recap on the present, future and past tense. Pupils serve the pronoun to match up with the correct verb(teacher or pupil clicks on matching pair). This will quickly highlight areas for pupil development. It is easy to change the verbs and the tenses if you want to challenge your pupils with other verbs or tenses.
Match up of match reactions to the game. These phrases are from player quotes, press articles and online media reactions. Although related to the match this resource practices opinions which are key to exam success. This is easy to print or edit and the teacher presentation includes the solution.
