Lesson in the series of Ancient Greeks Lesson Plans, Notebooks and resources. The full series includes lessons about various Ancient Greece topics and questions which you can use in response to children's interests, all linked to the theme Ancient Greece.
This lesson looks at where in the world is Greece, looks at countries in Europe and provides a framework for pupils to carry out independent research using the internet, recording answers on a worksheet, giving a clear scaffold and learning experience to keep children on task and avoiding 'copying and pasting'. It is scaffolded with specific questions linking to specific websites and differentiated for MAP (middle ability pupils), LAP and HAP.
The note book includes maps, objectives, review and teaching pages. Along with the differentiated worksheets pupils can browse specific websites and record learning. Basically everything you need for the lesson and to enjoy your Sunday!
Thank you - I was a behaviour support teacher and regularly worked with pupils who needed to be able to name, describe and manage feelings. See my other resources too. Thank you for buying. Includes a transition game which was good for ASD kids too. You just need to draw some marks on a large white board or white board table for the counters or develop your own individualised game board. There is a base board but you might want to individualise it.. Also includes leaflets for training or for pupils adapted for each audience. There is group work for Autism awareness for aged 5-14 which could be adapted up or down too. Lots of stuff I have used successfully over the years
This unit of work is useful for giving straight to your classroom assistant to take a group of pupils and develop their friendships, social skills and ability to remain friends. It includes solutions focussed, child friendly therapy sheets useful for exploring key issues with your target child. I hope you find it useful and can leave me a good review. Please bear in mind the time I have taken to prepare this and the low cost I am charging when leaving your review. I have also recently included a game I have made up and all the things for this game, as when I provided this for free, people were unable to access some of the books and games commercially. Many thanks and enjoy your weekends.

I have been teaching almost thirty years and have been an adviser and leader of teaching and learning in a school. I have been consistently judged as outstanding. My pupils really enjoyed these lesson and they set the scene for a great unit on Ancient Greece.
This game was developed using a based board and the cards and used in different ways. I used it as part of a family SEAL session, have provided it to families I know struggled to engage together and have used it with my own family, whilst I developed it! All pictures are taken from Freepics: Teach17 and are copyright free. I have also included some Family sessions planning but need to finish these as still working on them, getting rid of the non copyright free pics and changing them all. You can email me for them or message me if you buy the game…
I was a behaviour support advisor, SENCo and am now a learning support teacher in a leading international school. I have a Master’s in SEN and have been an Academic Vice Principal or a large 6 form entry school as well. I’m aging so I’m grateful for you buying my resources. I have had almost a million downloads over the years, free to all, but am now charging a small amount to help me on my travels :)
I am sharing my resources as everything takes us so long to do and I use T.E.S all the time. I am judged to be an outstanding teacher and have been a Head of Teaching and Learning as well as a SEN Co so all my resources are well differentiated.
These resources are for KS2. You are welcome to email me for other resources that link to the plans but cannot be paid for as include various images etc!
Thanks for buying and I hope you and your class enjoy using them.
This is the old curriculum for Y5 but I haven't had time to update for new as changed year groups. However it is a useful starting point and has had almost 130 000 downloads for free with an average score of 4-5 so please enjoy a year of maths planning with a few changes that you will need to make, rather than starting from scratch. I have kept the cost low as not updated but for the work load it will save you, I hope you enjoy more time for yourself. Thanks for looking and buying. Please don't buy if you are going to leave a poor review as not updated. It's not updated that's why cost is low :)
Perfect for those of you who don't have time and hate laminating cards. I spent my time designing these so I can just walk in to cover classes at a moments notice so would be perfect for supply or cover teachers or TAs. The other weeks are also available.
Though this is a week really it took me over 2 weeks with Y2 as it is so rich. You can skip through if your pupils learn quickly. Each presentation has over 20 pages and I have included jpegs for you to see them.
You only need white boards and pens for these lessons.
Happy Sunday Fellow Teachers :)
