A sequence of lessons on Factorising Trinomials (Quadratics with a co-efficient of x sqd) designed for a high ability KS3 or KS4 group. Whilst reading the Economist I saw a Venn Diagram which illustrated the 4 main political parties policies and so I created a version where the pupils can discuss which policies relate to which political party. I found it useful in Tutor Time to start a discuss around the General Election and it can also be used as an introduction to Venn Diagrams (real life context).
