This is a 10-15 minute assembly on online abuse. It is suitable for KS3-KS5 (Ages 11-18, Years 7-13, Grades 6-12) and is great for an assembly or a tutor time PSHE or Personal Development session. This is a 15 minute presentation which was originally a KS3 and KS4 PSHE session for tutor time. It could be used as an assembly or a standalone quick look at how to care for the elderly in the community. It contains two youtube clips downloaded so they will never disappear, some information and a class discussion question that pupils can think about for a plenary. It also includes a small section on child carers and the intergenerational care home idea from the news. It focuses on why we should help the elderly and can contribute to the new RSE and Health Curriculum as well as the existing PSHE and Citizenship, SMSC, Fundamental British Values and Values education.

This is a 15 minute assembly or tutor time session about anxiety. It explores ways to help someone suffering with anxiety and how to deal with a panic attack. It incorporates two youtube clips and has a discussion focus. There are no written tasks to complete. This is suitable for KS3, KS4 and KS5 to give them a quick overview of what anxiety is and how we can support people with mental health issues. This could be used as part of the new RSE & Health Curriculum or as part of a standalone session on mental health, PSHE or tutor time resource.

This is a worksheet that can be used as part of a lesson about how Martin Luther King was inspired by Jesus’ teachings from the Bible. It focuses on 4 key Bible verses and asks pupils to explain how Martin Luther King Jr acted on those Biblical teachings. A simple but effective worksheet to ensure pupils understand the influence of his Christian beliefs on his work. This is suitable for KS2 - KS4 (Ages 7-18).

This is a 500 word Intent statement for the new RSE & Health Curriculum but can also be used for a more general PSHE and Citizenship statement.
