Challenge students to think about Hexxus and what happened to Ralph and Tony in the Leveler to the way humans sometimes act in the real world. Encourage students to apply what they have learned about context to what characters say in the film. For example when Batty tells Zak, "Truth doesn’t always win friends, but it certainly influences people.”

Think like a director and describe how despite Alberto’s mistakes, the viewer still wants to see him succeed. Ask students to put themselves in Alberto’s shoes and summarize the experiences he has had with Massimo as he write a letter to his best friend Luca.
This resource consists of 4 high-level, short answer and essay questions that will do more than just ask your students to regurgitate information.
