EDEXCEL GCSE HISTORY. MIGRATION THROUGH TIME PRE EXAMINATION LESSONS
Edexcel GCSE History. These lessons focus fully on examination practice, and complement the migration through time workbook (also available as a bundle), but can be used as a stand alone resource. There are about 4 to 5 lessons contained within the power point, each outlining examination technique/structure, model and answers and practice questions for the students. The power point contains 30 slides.
Duration 4/5 hours plus homework.

This bundle contains 4 lessons which form part of the A unit on civil rights. They consider the impact of Malcolm X and black power and require students to look at how much effect black power had on civil rights. GCSE 9-1 MIGRANTS IN BRITAIN CASE STUDY. YORK UNDER THE VIKINGS
This lesson covers the case study for key topic 1 for the new EDEXCEL GCSE History breadth study Migrants in Britain. It looks at the city of York under the Vikings. This contain all of the knowledge that students need for the exam; a practice causation question, and opportunities for discussion and evaluation throughout. This case study should be taught at the end of key topic 1 - Migration in Medieval England.
If all activities are covered the duration of the lesson will be 2 hours. Suitable for all ability groups.

This bundle contains 6 lessons covering the third part of the first key topic on for the A Level Unit Democracy and Dictatorship in Germany. These lessons focus on the fall of the Weimar Republic and the rise to power of Hitler and the Nazis. They each take an hour to teach (lesson 21 takes 2 hours), and although a text book is desirable it is not essential. Activities are included within the power point.

Tasks focus mainly on interpretations of history.

This is the first lesson on the reign of Elizabeth I following on from the lessons on the Mid Tudor Crisis (bundle available). This lesson considers Elizabeth’s challenges when she comes to the throne and the legacy left for her by Mary. A LEVEL DEMOCRACY AND DICTATORSHIP IN GERMANY LESSON 1: THE COLLAPSE OF IMPERIAL GERMANY
This is the first lesson in a series created for the A Level unit Democracy and Dictatorship in Germany. It provides background information on the causes of Germany’s defeat in the First World War and evaluates the socio-economic consequences of the war. It contains varied tasks; key words and reading necessary for success at A Level.
Ideally this lesson should be taught in conjunction with the Access to History, Democracies and Dictatorships in Germany, but other text books could be used to support it.
A LEVEL. PRESIDENT NIXON'S FOREIGN POLICY
This lesson investigates the success of President Nixon’s foreign policy and includes an evaluation of Kissinger’s performance as Secretary of State. It includes readings; videos and essay writing plans and activities.
This lesson will probably take 3 hours to teach if all of the activities are completed and videos are watched, although it can be cut down by setting some of the activities for homework.
