A powerpoint I created to help my year 8 and year 9 groups practise verb tenses before the summer exams.
Year 8 (second year): present, preterite and near future
year 9 (third year): present, preterite, near and simple future.
this resource does not include verb endings, but tables for students to fill in and practise verb conjugations in their 6 forms (there are some common irregulars). Answers included for them to work independently and check their own answers.
Ppt includes a thinking quilts activity where students will be identifying these tenses in use, as well as typical time markers to go with each tense.
