This unit of 16 practical music lessons, teaches pupils how to play and perform, using glockenspiels.
Pupils learn;
• How to play the glockenspiel correctly
• How to read and play a variety of tunes and songs using a lettered score
• How to perform in two, three and four parts
• About the percussion family, tuned and untuned instruments and a range of musical terms and signs
These resources will support your delivery of the Model Music Curriculum 2021. The musical activities in this pack focus on Listening and Performing. The activities also aid the development of a range of wider skills including focus, team-work, coordination and confidence.
You do not need a musical background to deliver this unit.
