Pride assembly- why do people celebrate pride? The slides are mostly self-explanatory but there is some guidance within the notes section on the slides to help you deliver the assembly should you need it, as well as an explanation slide at the beginning of the powerpoint. Please be aware that most of these assemblies require you to have a little bit of input on your part- generally it is just updating the slides which tell students who to go to if they have concerns or want to talk. Two short tutor time activities that can be used as part of assemblies or form time to celebrate LGBTQ+ Pride Month. One is an icons quiz, with different LGBTQ+ people in the public eye having a pride flag over their face and the students have to guess who they are. The other is a flags quiz containing different LGBTQ flags, with a short explanation of the terminology when clicked on.
