Starts the second module of Year 7 using the Viva 1 textbook as a basis for the course. My 75-minute lessons are very structured with clear learning objectives and learning checks for each lesson objective. The learning objectives go over the two lessons and the lessons reference each other to reinforce learning, Several starters to choose from which allows you to customise the learning for your pupils. Make the most of the two sets of practice papers released for the new 9-1 Spanish Edexcel exam, the Sample Assessment Material and the Extra Sample Assessment Materials. This is the first lesson of two for the Extra Sample Assessment Material released by Edexcel. It includes strategy, questions and the mark scheme. It also includes a per-question breakdown of the topic and relevant pages in the Edexcel 9-1 GCSE Spanish revision guide. So if your students struggle with a question, they know what to study. It’s almost that time of year again! To help save time, there are three lessons included: Animals and asking about them, Hola and greetings, Olympic sports. Includes 7 resources. For talking circles activities, you will need to print on card the vocabulary pictures and the one question being asked. Two lines of equal numbers of children facing each other ask the question and answer based on their picture card, then move along and do it with the next person they face. Good VAK fun!

This set of three lessons is an improved version of the other lessons that were originally posted. Lesson 2 has been improved with some foundation and higher level translations. This begins to practice GCSE 9-1-style translation exam technique and is useful to introduce in KS3 or 4. Lesson 3 is extra material I have posted which includes higher numbers revision, prices, reading shop openings and revises all the previous shops language of the Barcelona lessons with extra vocabulary and activities. Builds shops, items, places in Barcelona with translation, dialogue and reading work. Can be used as a revision for places in town for a Foundation KS4. Print off the slides for reading, speaking and translation as a desk resource in lieu of a textbook.

A useful and editable booklet with lots of activities involving vocabulary, reading, writing with opportunities for parental and student feedback. Uses the old PLTS system, but this can be adapted or edited out. Can be targeted towards able Year 8 or for Year 9 to Year 11. All resources I post are in word document form so they are editable. Cut and paste or edit as needed.

Best when used with electonic and hardcopy textbook although most slides can be printed out to be used. Activities are flexible - one lesson with up to 75 minutes worth of teaching materials so power point can be edited down as needed. Learning objectives, learning checks and RAG-rating included making it easy to pitch towards all abilities. You can edit to include the assessment/grading scheme of your setting easily.
