Spanish KS3 Mastering Regular Present Tense Verbs: Rules & Practice
A standalone resource to introduce KS3 pupils or foundation GCSE pupils to the regular present tense patterns with lots of practice and examples. The exercises focus on 10 key infinitives and include infinitive match up, recognising and translating verbs to English, forming verbs in Spanish, sentence match, sentence translation and gap fill.

It includes regular conjugation exercises, key past tense verbs and practice, and also an assessment to test understanding. There is a mixture of reading, translation and conjugation activities and enough materials to use over a few lessons.

An activity to use in class to revise key vocabulary on this topic and then to recycle some of the key bits of vocabulary in a translation task.

Spanish GCSE mi barrio: my area card sort (positive & negative opinions) with key vocabulary hunt
“Lo bueno es que en mi barrio hay mucho que hacer”.
A set of 16 cards for pupils to read, analyse and to separate into positive and negative opinions. The cards contain lots of vocabulary on this topic which pupils ‘hunt’ for using the worksheet. They could then be given some of the cards each to translate before producing their own opinions, recycling the language from this resource.

Je vais décrire où j’habite. A resource on which to base a whole lesson on the topic of house and home.
