A translation game to get pupils producing and saying accurate justified opinions about TV and Film using a range of complex structures. Pupils play in threes, roll the dice and then one pupil is the referee who checks the accuracy of their statements. There is also a translation grid to use as a plenary activity to get pupils translating sentences into French.

Las vacaciones This is a Spanish translation resource pack on the topic of holidays with answers and will help pupils prepare for the translation part of the exam. There are 40 sentences in total, 20 different sentences to translate into each language, which recycle key holidays/tourism vocabulary, complex and idiomatic structures and specific grammar points. The sentences include: past, present & future tenses lo que más me gusta/ lo mejor imperfect & past description Conditional sentences (si tuviera mi elección/ si fuera rico) Verbs which are followed by an infinitive (suelo, prefiero, evito etc.) ‘gustar’ verbs the use of para + infinitive perfect tense (siempre he soñado con…)
