Science - Bunsen Burner
This is an introductory lesson on the Bunsen burner. Pupils will have the opportunity to use a bunsen burner and if successful gain a certificate and a Bunsen Burner License.
This Bunsen burner pack contains PPT: 17 Sides Work Booklet: 8 Pages
Pupils will be taught about the history of the Bunsen burner. There is an opportunity for the teacher to model how to set up the bunsen burner. They will then have to create a flowchart on setting up a Bunsen burner. Once this is complete, pupils will take it in turns to peer assess each other on accuracy and safety.
Included in this pack are A4 certificates and credit card size bunsen burner licenses.
The exit task is based on our interactive 5W activity. The 5w selector will select one of the 5ws (who, what, where, when or why) and the teacher should pose questions based on this selection about the Bunsen Burner. Pupils can fill in the 5w sheet as the plenary/exit task progresses.

Death & Afterlife according to Judaism-Key Concepts: An activity sheet based on the key words used to revise about death and the Afterlife according to Judaism.
Judaism Rites of Passage Revision Booklet: A Grab and Go Resource! Zero Prep Required.
This is booklet with is really useful to sum up rites of passage. Pupils can be given a a few lessons to research, use their existing work and complete the worksheets within the booklet.
They are then tasked with creating their very own revision aid on the topic. We usually collect these in and photocopy them and distribute to the class as a handy home revision summary.
The Booklet includes information and worksheets on the four main rites of passage: Brit Milah, Bar Mitzvah, Marriage, Death. Also Included: The role of the parents in these and a page in which there are arguments for which rite of passage is superior (to answer a specific exam style question). The Ultimate Bubble Timer.
This is our new Ultimate Bubble timer. If you love our other timers you will certainly love this! It comes with popping sounds and music!
This is a fun countdown timer that can be used as a time management tool in any lesson. You have a choice between a 4, 3 or 2 minute, 80, 60 or 30 second timer.
The bubbles can easily be altered in the animation pane to make the timer shorter or longer should you so wish.
The bubbles can all be selected, copied from this presentation and pasted and inserted into your own or on top of any slide you wish alternatively, there is a section of slides on the PowerPoint where you can choose a timer and copy and paste the bubbles as a frame around your own slides too (just copy and paste them into your presentation.

Pull the udder one!
A completely customisable true or False activity. This particular one is based on space.
Pupils love the interaction shouting moo (true) or quacking for false statements. This can be used as a starter, plenary or an AFL checkpoint activity throughout the lesson.
This resource comprises of two worksheets in which the pupils are tasked to complete a matchup activity based on prior learning on food groups. Pupils must colour code each item correctly matching up the nutrient, use in the body with what are the good sources of this. Then pupils have to label the food pyramid and categorise the food provided.
An A-Z vocabulary booklet based on the new WJEC Specification Unit 1. This contains specific vocabulary that pupils need to know for the exam, with other relevant key words together with space for pupils to add their own specific content. The majority of pages are dedicated to a letter. were as come letters (Y & Z, for example) share a page.
The booklet is 39 pages long, this will allow you to have it printed back to back in magazine form as either an A5 (printed on A4 paper) or A4 booklet (printed on A3 paper).
This resource is based on a standard deck of 52 playing cards. For this resource you require a deck of cards.
You should then give every child in your class a card and use the random generator to select a card and the person with the chosen card gets asked a question during the lesson.
There is a selection of options for you to use. Shuffled cards with music, Shuffled cards without music and an un-shuffled deck. Each of the options is presented in two different ways for you to use.
You can copy and paste the playing cards on the next slide into any presentation you wish or use the slide as a standalone resource. Click on the playing cards to start it and to stop it click it once more.

This is fully interactive with music!!!
This is a great way to spice up your questioning during lessons. What a great way to promote literacy and getting pupils to think about deeper questioning.
Included in this resource is a Question Matrix worksheet. With a selection of questions ranging from lower to higher order questioning. Each selection is colour-coded (green-red). The green questions are lower order and they progress to red (higher order).
Teacher Instructions: You can copy and paste the Question Generator slide into any presentation you wish or use the slide as a standalone resource.
Click on the spin button to start the selector and the stop button to stop it. You can reset the selector at any time to restart the process.
Pupil Instructions: The Question Generator will generate the start of a question. Press ‘spin’ to start the selector and ‘stop’ to stop it spinning. Use this resource to help pupils formulate questions to ask about the topic studied OR the teacher will give questions that they will need to answer in the relevant boxes.

Halloween - Playing Cards Snap or Go Fish
This pack contains 52 playing cards that can be printed out onto card and used as a fun Halloween resource. We recommend that you print out TWO sets and use them and pupils can use them to play snap with the deck.Alternatively, ‘go fish’ whereby all cards are put face down on the table and pupils have to try to match pairs. In both cases the person with the most sets wins.
It is entirely up to you how you prepare these cards, But we recommend that you print them out, in colour onto paper or card cut around the top and bottom card (on the top and bottom left). We then fold the middle section and glue the pieces together and laminate the card to ensure it’s durability. Alternatively, you can just use the front of the card for ease of use.

Activity on on recording time digitally. Pupils will find out when completing the challenges that they won’t be accurate. Therefore, they will want to repeat challenge reinforcing the need for repeat experiments to find averages.

This Exit Task/Plenary is designed to draw out the findings of the measuring time activities. These being that the children will learn that using a stop click to seconds and hundredths of seconds will give them a precise time. However, this is not 100% accurate due to human error (reaction times). You should discuss how to improve on accuracy ( use of repeats and find an average).

This is a lesson teaching pupils the different types of energy transfer and the conservation of energy.
