The information (adjectives, hair and eye colour, personality, job, hobbies and age) are in English and they have to write sentences in French to describe each member. The next task is a long reading task, followed by a table to complete. The third task is a translation. The final task is a faulty translation. They have to spot the mistakes and correct them.

I have created a four in row speaking task to play in pairs or as a group (one with support il y a…and one with there is, there is no, there are…to translate). I have added a battle-ship speaking task for the pupils to play in pairs. Finally there is a reading task which can be used as a model for writing.
