Trench Warfare in WWI Reading/Worksheet
This product is a great resource to use as a quick reading assignment or homework assignment in a World History or U.S. History course studying World War I. Specifically, this product explains trench warfare and the difficulties of soldiers living in the trenches during WWI.
This product includes a one page reading passage and also a worksheet that was made to accompany the reading. The reading page was created for a high school classroom but could be used in lower grades as well. The reading is written at a 9th-10th grade level.
The worksheet that accompanies the reading includes:
5 multiple choice questions
4 short answer questions
1 extended response question
An answer key for quick grading is also included.

Assassination of Franz Ferdinand Worksheet
This product is a great resource to use as a quick reading assignment or homework assignment in a World History or U.S. History course studying World War I. Specifically, this product describes the assassination of the Archduke of Austria-Hungary, Franz Ferdinand. This event is considered the spark that started World War I. This reading provides information about the background, the assassination, and the aftermath of the assassination.

1917 (Movie) Review Questions
This product is designed to accompany a World History/U.S. History course that is using the film “1917” to teach students about World War I and trench warfare.
The resource includes questions that guide student learning and assess knowledge of World War I, trench warfare, and the life of a soldier during The Great War. This product includes 5 extended response type questions. The questions are multi-part questions in which students are expected to provide thoughtful, thorough answers based on their viewing of the film. War Horse (Movie) Review Questions
This resource is a set of review questions that follow along with the film War Horse, directed by Steven Spielberg. It is the story of a horse and his journey from farm to the frontlines of World War I.
The questions in this product include questions relating to the film itself and also critical thinking questions about WWI and the effects of war.
This would be a great resource to use with students as they watch the film. The questions follow the film in order and are well connected to the history of WWI.
There are 15 total questions on two pages.

1917 (Movie) - Movie Guide
This product includes resources to be used with the film, 1917. This film was released in 2019 and is a great resource to use when teaching a unit on World War I. In the film, two soldiers are tasked with a seemingly impossible mission to cross nine miles of war torn France to deliver an important message.

Discrimination and Segregation Powerpoint Presentation
This folder contains a short presentation on discrimination and segregation in the United States. The presentation was created for an 11th grade Government classroom. It includes a guided student document accompany the powerpoint presentation so that students may fill out the notes in class. The material is meant to introduce content for the material and not an exhaustive resource to teach the concept. The powerpoint includes an opening slide utilizing a "wordle", 3 slides of content material, and 1 slide of response questions for students to answer in class. 5 slides total.

This Forms of Government Study Guide is a graphic organizer of the various forms of government. This resource includes a blank copy that can be used as notes, study guide, or for students to complete on their own. How It's Made Activity
This product includes YouTube links to short “How It’s Made” clips and the following questions:
Briefly describe the process of creating the product that you viewed. (2-3 sentences)
Explain why this product is important, or what are it’s uses. (2-3 sentences)
Explain how this product might have been made before the Industrial Revolution and the use of factories/assembly lines/mass production.
These three questions are presented to students after each video clip. The document could be modified to change the videos and/or change the questions.

Industrial Revolution Videos Review
This product is designed to be used as an in class computer based assignment or an assignment to be completed at home with the use of a computer. This resource is a Google Docs created product so Google Classroom would be a perfect place for this assignment to be posted.
It could also be printed for students to use and complete. Students must watch short 8-10 minute video clips about certain portions of the Industrial Revolution. The videos and links that they will watch are:

Students are presented with a graphic organizer of the four clips from above. For each video clip, students will then write a description of each video and then find a visual that could accompany each video clip. All of this is completed in the graphic organizer. Teachers may find that they want to show the clips to all students in class at the same time or students may complete on their own as the links to the videos are included in the worksheet.

Create Your Own Map
n this activity, students are tasked with creating their own map of a fictional or real location. This is a highly flexible activity that can be made to work in classrooms in many grade levels. The purpose of the activity is to teach geography, map reading, and critical thinking skills to students.
Included with this product are two pages. The first, a directions and hints page to inform students of their task. The maps themselves will be completed using a separate document/paper. The second page of the resource includes three response questions (including a chart) about the creation process and the thoughts behind their creation.
The activity and the response questions encourage critical thinking, collaboration (if a group activity), and creativity. The response questions and finished product will provide assessment data as well.
