Each powerpoint introduces a practical and support students with the skills needed to plan an investigation. Also included is powerpoint that can be used to deliver whole class feedback on the practical work All lessons include a starter and various student activities. They are designed to be done in pairs with feedback given on the first lesson before delivering the second.

This is a full lesson covering OCR Chemistry Spec points 4.1.1 a and c naming organic compounds and homologous series. This is a free sample to show the quality and structure of my resources. This is a full lesson covering section 4.2.2a and PAG5.3 of the OCR A level chemistry specification. It introduces the quick fit apparatus and the methods for distillation and heating under reflux. It is based on the Cleaps version of PAG 5.3. and includes follow up questions. This is a complete lesson covering sections 5.2.1 a and c of the OCR Chemistry Specification- lattice enthalpy. The lesson opens by covering the various energy changes that students are required to understand and use through their course- using various students led examples to help illustrate the points. It then goes on to discuss lattice enthalpy and the factors that affect it. The lesson includes a starter, full notes, various student led activities and a differentiated summary at the end. All answers are included. I actively try to reduce photocopying, so most of the lesson resources are within the PowerPoint rather than as extra sheets.

This is a complete lesson covering sections 5.2.4 a and b of the OCR A level Biology specification- the endocrine system. It starts with introducing the endocrine system as well as the various endocrine glands in the human body. It then moves on to discussing hormones including the different types of hormones and their actions. There is then a comparison of hormonal communication and neuronal. The lesson closes by looking at the adrenal gland including its structure and the different role it plays in both the endocrine system as well as the sympathetic nervous system. Revision activity of three of the topics in C1- mixtures, the periodic table and atomic structure. Each section has a number of slides going over the content followed by an exam questions with mark scheme. Exam questions are two standard demand and a higher demand.

A complete lesson taking students through the calculations for reacting masses Suitable for trilogy and separate chemistry It starts with practice of moles and molar calculations. It then demonstrates the idea of ratios using recipes for making cakes. There are then some worked examples for the whole class to do together plus some individual practice.
