We are planning to deliver the Pearson's BTEC Level 1 Introductory qualification in Vocational Studies in 2017. This resource is therefore aimed at learners working at level 1. This resource contains: Our planned Assignment brief for Unit A1 Being Organised - Remember your internal verifier will need to verifier this assignment brief before use and you need to add your assessor's name and assessment dates. Also included are some worksheets to help with task 1 and task 2 Worksheets for task 1 relate to approaches to help with being organised and include: 1_3_5 Task list - setting tasks by priority (1 main task - 3 medium tasks and 5 small tasks A generic check list template worksheet A task Planner by day worksheet A task planner matching tasks with required energy levels A task planner dividing tasks by urgency A task planner by week There is also a template for task 2 where learners review the techniques they used in task 1. The template is in a table format and makes learners consider how useful the technique was and how they could use the technique in the future.

Features of Financial Institutions (B1) Communicating with customers (B2) Consumer Protection in relation to personal finance (B3) Information guidance and advice (B4) The student booklets contain revision activities and exam style questions. The teacher answer booklets contains answers to all the revision activities and mark schemes for the exam style questions. I am currently working on revision booklet for the other Learning Aims and also plan to produce a mock exam. Business Location - GCSE Business Studies Lesson and Group Task This resources has been designed for GCSE Business Studies and can be used for the new AQA GCSE Business (8132) for exams 2019 - it covers 3.1.5 Business location from the specification. This resources contains material for two 55 minute lessons covering business location. Files included with this resource are A PowerPoint guiding students through activities related to business location A worksheet containing four business locations for students to discuss A lesson plan containing the timings for the 2 X 55 minute lessons on Business Location The main learning activity involves learners working in groups of four to analyse four potential new locations for a toy store. Students discuss the locations in their groups, recording both the advantages and disadvantage for each business location. The students then agree within their group their chosen business location and feedback how their reached their decisions. A worksheet is included for each business location and each member of the group is expected to complete the advantages and drawbacks for at least one business location. This ensures all team members are contributing to the discussion.
