Have your class make their own poppies to write in or draw in to help remember this important day. Instructions included on the templates. Print the poppies onto red paper as needed and the leaves onto green paper (3 per page). You could get children to write: words of remembrance inside words to describe our heroes a poem information on remembrance or the war

Using the very popular gameshow idea, your kids will love these times table games! Floor is Lava! Included: 11 games for the x2 to x12 tables PowerPoint explaining the rules Aim: be the first to build a bridge over the danger below to cross from one side to the other. Steps: Roll the dice and move your pawn around the outside circles either clockwise or anticlockwise multiply the number (factor) you land on by the times table focus (factor) of the game Find the answer (multiple) on the hexagon board Add a counter to that hexagon if you got it right If you got it wrong or have nowhere to go, pass the dice The first to have a continuous line of hexagons from one side to the other wins!

Howdy partners, It’s time for the most rootin’-tootin’wild west multiplication shoot out! Get your fingers on the triggers ‘n’ get ready to fire your pistols. It’s time to show you’re the sharpest shooter in town! A fun, themed multplication game where children can compete to be the faster gun slinger as they develop their multiplication recall. Game includes random number generators for up to 12x12. Either use a set times table by clicking through the first number until you find the table you want or play randomly. For preference purposes, an alternative version includes a hover over the number ability (rather than clicking) Music included that plays across the slides. various ways to play: 1- children are back to back and have to turn round to shoot the answer at their partner 2- 2 teams: each child on a team has a set number of ‘bullets’. They choose when to use them by throwing hand up and shouting bang. The fastest hand gets to answer. A point if correct. If hesitation or wrong answer, it goes to the other team. NOTE: Make sure you enable macros when given the option as this will allow the randomisation to function

This is a hugely successful, tried and tested tool for encouraging your class, year group or school to enjoy reading and to celebrate the completion of books. Once a child has completed their book, they grab a book end, decorate with the title of their book etc and stick it onto the bookshelf. Once the shelf is complete, celebrate as a group! With 8 different colours available, there’s schemes for any room with the option to use house colours for different groups/ classes or teams. Title posters available with 3 different text colours. Notes for printing: for best results, print the bookshelves on A3. Piece and stick together (2cm overlap for ease) print the bookends on A4 print the title poster as desired.
