I have developed a formula in line with the AQA specification (requirement advice for the Grade 5 and above) - this formula is easy to follow and helps student ensure their answers are developed well.
It includes formulas for 4 tenses (present, imperfect, future, conditional) which are easy to follow and covers multiple topics (mi barrio/ el medio-ambiente/ la salud) and the activities increase in challenge, there are also tasks throughout that get students to practise each formula.
Included:
WOW wall (for good work/ live learning)
seasons
weather
numbers 1- 1 billion
phonics bunting (very popular with students - probably the best display I’ve ever made)
french pronunciation
question words
classroom/target language phrases
French connectives

**These are all original resources that have been developed over the course of the year and transformed into a4 booklets for my current year 11s. **
Could be used for remote learning, homeworks, or adapted to support lessons.
Each unit consolidates key vocab, gives students several opportunities to practice the vocabulary and grammar in different contexts - and most importantly the activities vary greatly - meaning they’re not super dry! I’ve also taken extra care to ensure all resources are attractive and easily accessible as I teach a mixed ability year 11 class (targets 3-8)

Double sided a4 sheet
Side 1 - the 3 time frames (Past, Present, Future) with regular verb endings for each tense within that category plus common irregulars, Time expressions which trigger that category, HL phrases and idioms)
Side 2 - Opinion phrases, connectives, sequencing connectives, higher level structures for the grade 7+, Idiomatic expressions for the grade 7+
I’ve used this sheet year after year and it always enables students to access the 5+ and the top levels as it’s clear which tenses are in each time frame. The time expression triggers provide a good visual for students, too.
