A great crossword for the Marketing Mix

This presentation takes you through the marketing mix and the 4Ps.

This encourages students to think about what they are good at, what they need to improve on, the opportunities available to them and what might stop them achieving them. Very handy for PSHE, Drama or Business studies.

This presentation provides practical advice on how to deal with students who have Pathological Demand Avoidance Syndrome. It is based on a classroom study and I hope it is helpful.

I really just put this together to show off just how capable the Mind Mapping Software could be, but I am sure it must be useful for showing tenses. It was originally part of a series of lessons on learning 2 learn and how Mindmaps could be used to help with revision. The resource uses shortened English, because when I made the original materials I was teaching speaking rather than formal written documents. (For the British Council in Kuala Lumpur)

There is a lot of jargon on how we connect to the Internet and this fully animated presentation shows you exactly how we connect to the Internet as a story. By making a story this is now suitable for students from Key Stage 2 - 5 and brings all the jargon together in a meaningful way. (Highly recommended for teaching iGCSE Internet technologies). The words have been minimized to make more accessible for students with limited vocabulary.

This lesson was originally taught in a customer services unit, but would be great to prepare students for work experience or as part of any vocational course.

This assembly was to encourage year 10 to 11 who were feeling lethargic and just felt they were doing good enough. In this assembly, I show just how hard students in other parts of the world are working to get into a UK university. It had a very strong impact on my students and really helped them to understand why everyone wants them to work hard for their grades.
