In this folder, you will find a list of 22 possible conversation questions for Unit 1: Me, my family and friends of the French GCSE (with AQA) and their model answers.
For each question: Foundation and Higher model answers are provided.
The questions and model answers are available as a 5 pages Word document (+ pdf version) as well as a PPT presentation (with one question and its model answers per slide).
A document with questions only are also included for your convenience (editable and .pdf versions)

In this .zip folder, you will find a vocabulary list for the Topic:** Identity and Relationships with others** of the **French GCSE **(teaching starts September 2024).
The vocab words included on the list are all from the prescribed AQA vocabulary list. There are 5 pages for Foundation and an additional 2 pages for Higher tier.
.pdf and .docx versions included.
The list comes as a table with 4 columns: French word, English equivalent, part of speech and IPA notation.
The IPA notation has been added to help students with pronunciation and a fun lesson on IPA is available for £2.20 here, if your students are not familiar with IPA notation.
Note that, unlike the AQA list, only verbs in the infinitive have been included here. If you would like your students to have a list of verbs + conjugated forms, you may find this free verb table useful.
The first 2 files are a preview of what is included in the .zip folder: Vocab-Topic1.zip. After downloading, save the .zip file in your computer (in “documents” for example), then right-click and select “extract all” to access the documents.

You will find resources to practise the dictation question of the 2026 GCSE Examination (AQA). The topics covered are the 3 topics from Theme 1: People and Lifestyle.
Topic 1: Identity and Relationships with others

There are 3 practices for each Topic:
Practice 1: fill in the gaps in the 8 sentences (intermediate practice to help students build their dictation skills).
Practice 2: Write 4 sentences
Practice 3: Write 5 sentences
