All of my activities are created on an Acer Chromebook in a series of Posts on a Google Blog. I find some free coding to create a new type of activity and then find some suitable content. Any content can be adapted to any activity. All I need is feedback and requests.

The original activity can be found at https://learnanytime-mycreations.blogspot.com/2020/06/p-connecting-things-calculator-pictures_17.html A picture catalogue of all my resources can be found at : https://learnanytime-practising.blogspot.com Using the “calculator” coding a grid of pictures with text behind allows a simple “sorting” activity connecting pictures and text from a particular life cycle, in this case the human. All of the pictures and all of the text can be replaced with your own content. All of my activities are created on an Acer Chromebook in a series of Posts on a Google Blog. I know nothing of computer coding but started with one piece of free coding and have been adapting that by incorporating additional free coding. They are created as TEMPLATES for online interactive resources. So, if you have a blog, or want to create one to try this concept out, simply copy and paste the text in the downloaded text file as a NEW POST and PUBLISH. If the concept works PLEASE let me know and I will add other TEMPLATES I have created. The activities are meant to be fun, flexible and differentiated. They are meant to develop transferable skills and be cross curricular. As a result they hopefully reinforce small chunks of information and give a better understanding of a topic. Most of the activities are aimed at UK National Curriculum KS1 and KS2. Contact me at : learnanytime@gmail.com

The original activity can be found at https://learnanytime-mycreations.blogspot.com/2022/02/connecting-pictures-prepositions-2.html A picture catalogue of all my resources can be found at : https://learnanytime-practising.blogspot.com As I have mentioned in a number of activities a simple change in background colouring can change a practising activity into a testing activity. At the same time using pictures with labels allows at least three levels of differentiation. Both with labels, one with and one without, both without. The original activity can be found at https://learnanytime-mycreations.blogspot.com/2023/03/sorting-and-comparing-big-bigger.html A picture catalogue of all my resources can be found at : https://learnanytime-practising.blogspot.com A simple activity of sorting 3 sets of 3 pictures and then comparing and sorting them into big, bigger, biggest. In some of these activities I have used “labels”, in others I have “altered” the actual pictures. I would welcome comments as to whether these help or not. The original activity can be found at https://learnanytime-mycreations.blogspot.com/2021/12/counting-with-blue-dots-pandas.html A picture catalogue of all my resources can be found at : https://learnanytime-practising.blogspot.com Counting with Blue Dots [pandas] is a simple activity based upon a 30x10 invisible grid which can be placed over any picture. In this case a strange picture of pandas and a dog. By clicking in one of the 300 frames a BLUE DOT can appear [hence the counting element]. The quiz part is really means of differentiation and extension. All of my activities are created on an Acer Chromebook in a series of Posts on a Google Blog. This has a lot of potential the only negative is that the pictures need to be big enough for learners to be able to identify them and match them to the text. The original activity can be found at https://learnanytime-mycreations.blogspot.com/2023/05/highlighting-important-words-water.html A picture catalogue of all my resources can be found at : https://learnanytime-practising.blogspot.com Combining the coding from a couple of activities I came up with this means of helping learners be in control of the pace of their own learning. As a concept it is simple, a set of notes where learners identify and colour the words which they think are important. As they read and understand the words and their meanings they can then “un-colour” the words when they decide they “know” that set of notes and move on to the next. Again easy to produce so a bank of these available for learning or revising may be helpful. All of my activities are created on an Acer Chromebook in a series of Posts on a Google Blog.
