Complete lesson on Trench Warfare in WWI- designed as an introduction but has a fair amount of depth on why trench warfare was so deadly and difficult. Why did it develop? Why did it cause a war of attrition? Why was the death count so high? This resource can be used as an assembly or a display- it has video clip and interactive slides but they can also be printed as a narrative display to be read in sequence. Such an important topic and we need more education around it and why “all lives matter” narrative is not helpful or relevant.
