Good, Morality and Evil - Philosophy and Ethics. This is a three cycle booklet and PowerPoint. Designed to be used by specialist and non-specialist teachers. Each cycle of lessons is 3-5 lessons depending on pace, depth of exploration and discussion opportunities etc. so 9-15 lessons worth of work. The booklet is in a PowerPoint format, so can be ammended and adapted to suit your own teachings styles and students.

Human Rights GCSE Religious Studies (designed for Eduqas)/Wjec). This is a work pack and PowerPoint which we use for the whole unit, including human rights, prejudice and discrimination and wealth and poverty. It is designed for use by our trained RE teachers and non-specialists. Can also be used for long term cover. As the booklet/work pack is a PowerPoint the resource is adaptable to suit individuals, or to add/remove content. The unit contains Human Rights, Social Justice, Personal Conviction, Censorship, Extremism, Prejudice, Discrimination, Wealth and Poverty. It has been designed to be taught from a Christian and Muslim perspective.

A 2-3 lesson cycle looking at the incarnation of Jesus. Intended for KS3 but could easily be adapted for KS4 (Eduqas, Edexcel, OCR and WJEC specs). Looks at what incarnation means for Christians, what evidence there is that Jesus is both human and God, historical evidence for the existence of Jesus, what is the impact of the incarnation for Christians before then evaluating the concepts importance and then considering the views of the students.

Revision sheets designed to help students revise topics in under an hour and sub topics in 10/20 minutes. Aimed at students who do little or no revision and students who struggle with where to start. Also acts as a checklist for the content for Eduqas / WJEC religious studies 1-9 GCSE.

This homework approach builds on previous homework to make homework more meaningful and beneficial, whilst reducing teacher workload, by simplifying the time required to feedback.

It then explores religious views on euthanasia before looking at a famous rugby player whose faith helped him until the end. A PowerPoint considering some of the main issues for the General Election 2019 - Key Priorities, NHS and Care, Economy and Taxes, Education, Housing and Transport and Environment. Students will then have the chance to vote based on policies (parties not revealed until the end). A cycle of work lasting 2-4 lessons (depending on which resources are used) looking at the ummah, six articles of faith, The five roots of religion in Usal ad-Din in Shi’a Islam, differences between Sunni and Shi’a as well as overlapping key beliefs etc. For Islam - Beliefs and Teachings Eduqas 1-9 GCSE. There is the option of using BBC’s documentary on Muslims like us, which whilst produced to make ‘good television’ contains some good topics for debate and some good background information.
