This set of resources includes 5x PPTs which can be delivered over 7 lessons (around 180 slides of engaging and interactive learning) and 6x word files consisting of exam practice and activities… Learners are introduced to the extended marketing mix (7Ps). For product, we look at the product life cycle, Boston matrix and influences when developing new products. For Price, we look at the two main strategies which are required by the specification (skimming and penetration) as well as a few others just so students have a broad understanding of the topic. Many promotional strategies are discussed and worked on including social media/viral marketing, with the emphasis on branding. Different distribution channels are looked at too. Many real life examples are given throughout the bundle to help students contextualise. A variety of individual and group tasks to consolidate this knowledge through discussions, research and case studies and more. Exam questions, with model answers and marking grids so students can self/peer assess to identify WWW and EBI with their answers. This double lesson introduces learners the factors that businesses consider before relocating to sell or produce in another country. We start by looking at factors when assessing a country as a market, we look at each factor with some data then go on to looking at factors to consider when assessing as a production location (some of the factors come under both topics). A short case study on Slovakia’s government incentive of a flat tax which attracted many producers to relocate there, a 4 mark model answer for students to self assess with. A few more activities and a 10 mark question on assessing the UK as a production location, structure guidance is given and a model answer for students to look at, to build those examination skills! In this final double lesson of the social influence unit, we look at how social change occurs. We start by looking at the two causes of social change i.e minority influence and majority influence. We look at the 6 step process, followed by some videos of real life social changes like the Suffragettes and Civil rights movement to apply the 6 step process. A 6 mark exam style question with peer assessment grid so students can use the criteria to mark answers before responding with improvements. Students then complete an evaluation activity before going through the points. Some true or false questions before we have a break. In the second part of the lesson we start off with some MCQs before beginning a group task, students are given real life examples to focus on, to explain their social change and the process it went through. Students present back their findings before we have two kahoot quizzes with a lot of questions to recap the whole unit of social influence! Colourful, concise and engaging slides! Thank you
