I use these activities when teaching adults spreadsheets. This is a progression the Level 2 exercise including data input and a little more complex formulae inputting and alteration and they are useful as extra resources for those that are getting well ahead or for just getting them to do the same tasks until they are comfortable.
This is a workbook I used to use with adult learners who were preparing for the Food Safety exam. It could be used as a stand alone resource to raise awareness of food safety issues.
TEAM TASK: Entrepreneurial Thinking CHALLENGE
Engage students in a hands-on product development and evaluation exercise. In this collaborative activity, students rank laundry pegs based on chosen criteria, simulating the R&D process to develop critical thinking and teamwork skills.

There is data input and simple formulae inputting and alteration as well as graphs use and they are useful as extra resources for those that are getting well ahead or for just getting them to do the same tasks until they are comfortable.

Mock employer assessment centre
Set in the finance sector and used for older students.
Attendees have 30 - 45 minutes to read the brief, discuss the task and complete analysis/idea generation, groups present to the other groups. Each group is observed and ‘assessed’ by one of the facilitators against skills such as problem solving and decision making, working with others, planning to deliver.

Chalkboard Math is an old software game designed to polish the math skills of children ages 5-12 with colourful animation that makes learning fun.
There's a mouse loose in the classroom that will delight children and there are 5 different levels to help monitor progress. The programme tracks correct answers and features a roll of honour.

This quiz can be used as a bit of fun, team building game or ice breaker. The films are not based around Christmas but the activity might be useful in the run up to the Christmas break. The QI sheet is just a little bit of info about the origins of crackers.
