Whole class Kindness advent calendar. Children decorate each door and write something kind to make everybody smile inside. Cut along the black line and fold along the dotted line to create a door that opens. Print back to back so that page 3 is always printed on the back of the door page. Pack also includes individual advent calendars.

Diamond/Ruby- HA Emerald/Sapphire- MA/MLA Opals- LA Year 1 Literacy- introducing rhyme linked to Christmas Session 1- Finding simple words that rhyme. Session 2- Finding Christmas rhyming words. Session 3- using the rhyming words to write a Christmas poem.

Maths assessment checklist used with Year 1. Children are taught how to tick the correct identifying which apparatus they have used, whether it was supported or independent and self-assessing how they have found the task.
