New AQA Spec: Spanish General Vocab. First exams in 2018.
This resource pack is a complete guide to the General Vocab contained in the minimum core AQA specification. It is essential that pupils have a great understanding of vocabulary that will appear within all four skills. It is also essential that the vocabulary is embedded in an engaging and meaningful way.
All sub-topics within the General Vocab list are covered either by word searches, crosswords, match up activities, missing letters, word clouds, word mazes, scrambled letter puzzles or gap-fills and two versions of a General Vocab book are provided. There are at least two vocab puzzles for each sub-topic. The General Vocab books consist of a Spanish only version with room to fill in the English and the second containing both the Spanish and the English.
The resources can be used as vocab tests, revision, pre-vocab testing, classwork, homework and cover work. There are different versions provided to allow for differentiation or for retesting when consolidating. I have also provided the .txt files for each sub-topic so you can easily produce further resources during the GCSE course. I have added further vocabulary for days of the week, months, colours and shapes. The solutions to all of the crossword puzzles are provided. Pupil and teacher friendly.
There are two versions of this fantastic resource. A board game ready to be printed and an interactive PPT that can be played in class. Both versions contain the same 60 questions. All questions revise the content of Expo 3 vert but would be transferable to a 3rd Year French course. The animation added to the interactive questions means the questions can be tackled in a random order or if you prefer you can follow the numbers and the same order as the text book.
It is important that students are regularly revising and consolidating content. This is the perfect tool! With the upcoming changes to GCSE it is important that speaking is practiced regularly. Pupil and teacher friendly.
I hope you and your classes enjoy this resource as much as my students have!
This would be a great tool for your foreign language assistant to use too.
