Print and go lesson LOTS OF OTHER TOPICS AVAILABLE IN MY SHOP – Real World Educational Resources LO: to understand the function of numerators and denominators and the difference between 1/4, 4/4, 4/4 etc The four A4 corner cards on four different coloured cards and place in four corners of the room. Will also need command hooks and tubs with hanging hole (for whole class activity) Or a four corners mat for each group for the small group activity in colour on white card. RULES Two player to play: whole class or group of no more than four. Give each group a set of cards. Students to discuss which fraction is equivalent to the fraction in the corner cards. Either place on their mat or in the tub in the corner of the room. Four-Corners, Kagan (2009)
