These worksheets aim to help students improve their understanding and application of the Perfect Tense in French. The tasks deal with subject pronouns, the verb 'avoir', the formation of a regular 'ER', 'RE' and 'IR' past participle and the negative Perfect Tense. To demonstrate the Perfect Tense I have used the verbs and vocabulary from Module 2; Studio book 2.
These worksheets have been meticulously designed and are at least as nicely presented as any resource you might buy from a respectable publisher. Please don't be put off by the preview image which at times looks distorted with text not fitting into boxes or lines missing from tables (due, I think, to the inclusion of tables/grids/text boxes); the actual resource looks professional in appearance when downloaded.

These tried and tested exercises will give your students loads of practice using the vocabulary, verbs and grammar needed to write about their future holiday plans. Tasks are presented in a way which encourages students to try to learn verb forms and vocabulary before attempting to translate from memory. They cover the present tense of 'aller' + other common verbs which are followed by an infinitive as well as a range of future time expressions. An answer sheet allows students to mark and correct their own work. There is 1 ppt. to introduce the key vocabulary and grammar and 1 'shared' ppt. can be uploaded to your school's student shared area for extra practice/homework.

This ppt. (which contains some fun elements) gives a very clear, straight-forward explanation of how to form the Perfect Tense of regular ER, RE and IR verbs in French. It starts from basics and gradually builds up the blocks which are used to form this tense. Many of the exercises on the ppt. complement those which appear on the 4 worksheets in the resource, 'The Perfect Tense of regular 'avoir' verbs in French (context: Module 2;Studio book 2)'.
The ppt. resource and the worksheet resource can be bought together or as separate items.

This is a great resource for your more able students. It clearly demonstrates how to form the Imperfect Tense of regular (and the 3 irregular) verbs in Spanish and it makes the meaning clear, too. In addition, the Present and Preterite Tenses are revisited and there are exercises which involve using these 2 tenses alongside the Imperfect Tense: 'I was doing ..... when .....' and 'I used to ..... but now I .....'
There is an exercise on 'I only do, read, study' etc. using 'sólo' as well as an exercise on 'I no longer go, watch, read' etc. using 'ya no'.
To differentiate effectively, I introduce the vocabulary which will be needed in the more difficult translation exercises prior to the task. There is 1 answer sheet so that students can mark their own work. The worksheets come in a 'tú' and an 'vd.' version.

A great resource for younger students learning animal vocabulary for the first time. The worksheets encourage students to do tasks from memory and to break words up which helps with pronunciation.
