I made this ppt. and crossword puzzle to help my average to higher level G.C.S.E. students meet, use and understand more complex vocabulary and structures relating to the topic of technology.
Discuss and read about the advantages and disadvantages of mobile technology using structures like ...
1) on risque de ...
2) il est possible de ...

4) c'est un moyen de ...
5) c’est une façon de ...
6) concernant ...
7) en ce qui concerne ...
8) au niveau éducatif/financier/amoureux ...
I think this resource could even be used as an introduction to the topic at A Level.
1) Comment la technologie facilite la vie quotidienne.
2) Quels dangers la « cyber-société » pose-t-elle ?
Because school budgets are so tight these days, I thought it would be a good idea to create one single sheet for my students to write their answers to the 2018 specimen AQA GCSE French reading papers. That way I can re-use the actual test paper with all subsequent classes and cut down massively on photocopying.
Also, needing more examples of specimen reading papers for the new spec AQA, I have started to write my own. The first one is now available and it covers entirely the topic ‘Les nouvelles technologies’.
Wanting more examples of specimen reading papers for the new AQA GCSE French spec, I decided to start writing my own. This first reading practice paper is based entirely on the subject of new technology and it comes with an answer template so that you can cut down massively on photocopying. I have also included an answer sheet. I set this paper as a test for my students after they had covered all the work in the 'Technology in everyday life' theme (see my bundle).
This paper looks exactly like a real AQA Reading Paper and comprises 14 questions which are a mixture of Foundation and Higher Level.
Please let me know what you think. I do plan to write more papers based on single topics as well as a mixture of topics like in the real exam.
A straightforward worksheet to practise 'beaucoup de, plein de and trop de' with answers on a ppt.
An opportunity to revise key nouns and work on pronunciation.
Please take a look at my other resources in wylamuk's shop and I'd appreciate it if you would like and share me on Facebook.
Thank you for looking!
1) An entire Foundation Tier Reading paper based entirely on the theme of new technology with answers and a template for your students to write their answers (to cut down on photocopying).

This resource will help prepare your GCSE (AQA and Edexcel) students both to write and speak with increased confidence about the uses of social media. The 20 differentiated worksheets cover a range of skills (Reading, Writing and Speaking) and have been carefully designed to introduce and repeat key vocabulary and verbs relating to this GCSE topic. Some of the worksheets are also on ppt. to make it easier to introduce vocabulary and go over exercises in the lesson.
1) Practise ‘grâce à’, ‘toutes sortes de’, ‘pour and afin de’ + infinitive.
2) Learn and practise the verbs ‘pouvoir’ and ‘vouloir’ + infinitive.
3) Practise vocabulary and key verbs through gap fill, translation and reading tasks.
4) Practise/revise time expressions.
5) Improve written accuracy by translating with the help of scaffolding.
6) Gain confidence in speaking by working in pairs on well structured tasks.
Two worksheets will give your students practice in writing and speaking about this topic using the past tense. There is also a sheet to practise saying how you use mobile technology using the Future and Near Future Tense in the first person singular.
There is a role play practice sheet which your students can work on in pairs to improve their performance in both role play and general conversation. I have included an example of a typical GCSE Foundation and a Higher level role play on this topic.
My second resource on this topic covers the advantages and disadvantages of social media and I have written a GCSE AQA Reading Practice Paper which is entirely based on the theme of new technology. Please take a look!

I made this worksheet for a very able student to complement p. 24 of the Oxford AQA GCSE Spanish Higher coursebook. I would suggest your students first read 'La evolución de las páginas de citas’ on p. 24 before tackling the quite difficult translation task. There are 2 exercises to practise ‘encuentro + adjective + infinitive’ and ‘tener la oportunidad de + infinitive’ which appear in the text on p. 24.
