This lesson teaches students about the wide range of plant and animal adaptations that exist within rainforests. A wide range of examples are covered with specific detailed information on each one. The lesson can be split into two halves, with the first half focusing on plant adaptations and the second half focusing on animal adaptations. I used this with a wide range of abilities in year 8.

This lesson teaches students about how tourism can be managed within a tourist destination. There is a heavy emphasis on the Lake District, students will leave with a detailed understanding of how key factors are managed such as footpath erosion, traffic, environmental damage and issues on Lake Windermere. I used this with a mixed ability year 10 GCSE class studying AQA A Geography (two lessons). The resources are very detailed with a heavy emphasis on independent learning in sections for in depth questioning. This took me two lessons to cover, however it can be cut down to one lesson.
