The lesson follows a girl called Keira, who gives the impression all is perfect in her life when really this is a contrived online persona. This resource pack includes an hour long PowerPoint with accompanying worksheets, well differentiated activities, literacy focus tasks, clip tasks with three-way differentiated questions and information sheets.

**Manners and respect KS1 PSHE lesson. **
A one-hour long, very detailed, fully resourced PSHE lesson suitable for KS1. This lesson has been created for Year 2, however, the activities may also be suitable for younger KS2 children (Year 3).
In this lesson, the students will learn about respect and the reasons why we should always treat others how we would like to be treated.
The students will be introduced to the Golden Rule: “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.” which was originally taken from the bible. We will discuss how this rule can be applied to a variety of situations, and reflect on how we can politely and respectfully interact with others.
The lesson includes a case study starter, a story with accompanying questions, a set of case studies, and a plenary task.
Created to fit the new DfE and PSHE Association statutory 2020 /21 guidelines, the lesson includes a detailed PowerPoint, all editable with accompanying tasks and worksheets.

A 90 mins - 2 hours fully-resourced PSHCE lesson all about the importance of critical thinking and being able to spot and debunk fake news. Students will begin by studying a dubious social media post, before learning all the skills and new terminology they need to take it apart, analyse it and be critical of it through comparison with a variety of credible sources (included).
This has been created to fit with the new PSHE Association guidelines but would also be useful as a Citizenship or Media lesson. It lasts roughly 90 minutes if all tasks completed.

Introduction to UK Parliament lessons - 2x 1 hour Citizenship lessons all about Parliament and Law Making. Students will learn all about the Houses of Parliament, the Commons, the Lords and the different positions within, as well as how it operates. They will also discover how laws are made, how amendments are added and how there can be a ‘ping-pong’ effect from house to house before a new Act is granted the Royal Assent.

NEW 2024 - One hour lesson introducing the concept of budgeting with all the templates needed for students to create a working budget plan. Students will first discover what budgeting, sources of income and outgoings are, before investigating why it’s important to budget and studying a sample budgeting plan from an average teenager. Finally they will create their own. Includes lesson plan.

All about rules KS1 PSHE lesson.
A one-hour long, very detailed, fully resourced PSHE lesson suitable for KS1. This lesson has been created for Year 1, however, the activities are also suitable for students in Year 2, and could easily be adapted for use with older students.
In this lesson, the children will learn about the rules and the reasons why we need them. Resilience, setbacks and unhelpful thinking PSHE Lesson. A one-two hour-long, very detailed, fully resourced PSHE lesson suitable for KS2. This lesson has been created for Year 3, however, the contents of the resource are suitable for students across KS2. In this lesson, the students will explore the concept of resilience and the way that setbacks and perceived failures can have a negative impact on our self-esteem.
We will discuss the different ways that people can bounce back from disappointment, including the importance of re-framing negative thinking and looking for the positive in all situations.

A detailed and engaging lesson all about how Christianity ended up splitting into the many denominations it boasts today. The lesson sees students first explore the origins of Christianity and how Rome eventually brought the religion to the mainstream, then they will study the tree of denominations before getting stuck into group tasks which actively show how groups can split off from each other due to having different interpretations of scripture and the influence of leaders. They will then complete reflection tasks before a writing task summarising what they have learned as the plenary.
