This is a vocab sheet I have created for my year 7s Spanish group. We follow the Viva 1 textbook and I wanted them to have everything in one page so I collapsed all the vocab in two pages and they can have it back to back. Hope it helps! :)

KS3 Spanish (remote learning) - Viva 1 - Module 3 - Revision (the definite and indefinite articles)

With this lesson I am doing a bit of revision on one of the grammar topics of Module 3: the definite and indefinite articles. I am also revising a few objects from the school equipment topic, introduced to them earlier in the year. As usual, there is a slide explaining the difference between both articles, and a few interactive activities to do with them, then students can find some activities to do independently. If you like this resource, please leave a review, I would greatly appreciate it. This is a lesson I use with my Year 9 groups. We start GCSE a year earlier just so we have time to cover everything. We use the VIVA textbook foundation, although sometimes I use some things from the higher textbook too. This lesson´s focus is on describing a holiday in the past. There is a vocab presentation and a few interactive activities to do with them, then students can find some activities to do independently. If you like this resource, please leave a review, it would be much appreciated.

KS3 & KS4 Spanish - Viva texbook - The preterite tense (based on Module 1)

With this resource I am going to do a bit of revision of ‘The Preterite Tense’ with my Year 9 students. For our online meeting I have prepared two activities to do with them, one is a matching up card game, where they have to match the preterite tense verbs in Spanish with their English counterparts; the other one is a quiz with a “Who wants to be a millionaire” format. Then, students will find 5 different activities, including reading, translation and gap fill. If you like this resource, please leave a review, I would really appreciate it. KS3 Spanish - Viva 1 - Module 3 (Mi insti) - Homework booklet (with answers)

(3)
This homework booklet includes different activities for the different lessons of Viva 1 - Module 3 - Mi insti. I only teach units 1 - 4 from the textbook, then I add a lesson on school equipment and another lesson to revise for assessment, which for this module is assessment, so this booklet is adapted to my teaching. It includes: Vocab page with everything they need to know from M3. Instructions on how to use the booklet Lesson 1 - ¿Qué estudias? - three activities Lesson 2 - ¿Te gustan las ciencias? - 4 activities Lesson 3 - ¿Qué hay en tu insti? - 4 activities Lesson 4 - Durante el recreo - 3 activities Lesson 5 - El material escolar - 3 activities Lesson 6 - Translation practice - 3 activities The booklet is thought for students to be able to choose how much they want to do, with all of them attempting at least the first activity and deciding if they would like to go any further. However, I include the file as a PPT (as well as PDF) so if this is not something you would like to do you can always edit the document to your liking). The design is in black and white to cut down on printing costs.

KS3 Spanish - Homework booklet for Viva 1 - Module 1 - (with answers)

This is a homework booklet that I have created for my year 7 Spanish group based on the textbook Viva 1. I always struggle with marking homework, so I thought this could be an easy way for students to do homework and it is very easy for them to mark (while I am doing the register, for example). I also think it is important to differentiate homework as not all students can cope with the same activities. This is why I thought of this system. In my school, we have a points system. If students do nice things, they get points and at the end of the year the students with the most points get different rewards. With this homework booklet, students can earn points by doing more. Each page relates to one unit of the book and it has at least (some have more) three activities: The activities with a blue star are the easiest and they are worth one achievement point (as we called them). The activities with a green star are a bit more challenging and are worth two points. The activities with a yellow star (aim at different abilities) are extra, students complete them only if they want to. They are worth one point. Obviously the more activities they do at home the more points they can get. Attached with this resource you will find the homework booklet (in .ppt and pdf so you can edit things if you want to) and also a ppt with all the answers that you can easily show on the board for students to mark themselves. I hope this is useful! I am making one per module that I will be uploading soon! Bear with me! Thanks, @mflresources
