This gymanstics pair balances reference sheet and task card set are perfect for your Primary or Secondary Gymnastics Lessons. This resource includes a set of Gymnastics Pair Balances task cards for pairs balances and routines as well as an A4 differentiated visual aid (with around 50 balances) students can use to copy the paired balances from.
The tasks take students through how to match and mirror individual balances and matching and mirroring independently. They also included tasks that use the pair balances resource sheet:
Students select and practice
Find ways of getting into and out of the balances
Linking 2 pair balances together
Developing their own balances from pair or base positions given
Creating a short sequence
The pair balances resource sheet includes balances that are differentiated by colour. Easiest to hardest: Green, Yellow, Red, Purple
I would only suggest purple and red to those that are really competent gymnasts and have done some sports acro before - otherwise support would be required.

An A4 differentiated gymnastics balance task card students can use in a gymnastics lesson on balances or routines to copy the group of 5+ balances from. Easiest to hardest: Green, Yellow, Red , Purple. There is at least one balance for groups of 5, 6, 7, and 8.
I would only suggest purple to those that are really competent gymnasts and have done some sports acro before - otherwise lots of support would be required. I also would suggest support for those attempting red if they do not have a gymnastics background.

A comprehensive set of lesson plans for an introductory gymnastics unit, most appropriate for year 6 or lower KS3. The unit covers skills pupils will need to create their own individual gymnastics routines including individual balances, rotations, travelling movements, jumps and compositional aspects. 4 Stations/task cards for individual gymnastics balances. Useful in a lesson on balance or routines and great for independent work.There is a standing balances station, a kneeling and sitting balances station, a inverted balances station and a support balances station. There are enough balances on each station card to cater to complete beginners and for experienced gymnasts.
Colour and black and white versions included (to save on ink).
Recommendations for use:
Set up 4 different stations around the room and give students set times on each station then move them on (think circuit)
Split the group into 4 and give each group a station card - swap them over as needed
Place the balances in a central position and get students to pick on balance from each station that they should link together into a short sequence

This Easter maths codebreaker gives students lots of practice at their times tables which helps them to reveal a groan worthy Easter Joke. A fun maths starter or reward for early finishers in the run up to Easter.

This Halloween maths codebreaker uses skills learnt in ordering decimals, substutition, length conversions and coordiantes to reveal halloween jokes. Make your students feel like a spy trying to crack a code in a fun and novel way for students to practise ordering decimals, substitution, metric length conversions and coordinates in all 4 quadrants.

A fun 10 card treasure hunts for a function machines lesson. Skills covered are: finding the input of a function machine by using inverse operations. Student record card and solutions included. Use as a starter for a lesson on solving equations or as AFL/ a plenary for a lesson on finding the input of a function machine.
Difficulties include
★ Gold (medium) - Finding the input of a function machine by using inverse operations
Students need to start on any random card and note down the letter on their recording card (first page). They answer the question on that card then find another card that has the answer on (they then note down that letter and so on).
Suggestions for use:
★Print them off on A4 and scatter them around the room (students love getting out of their seats!)
★Print the cards off 4 to a page and give them to students individually to do on their desk
