This volleyball lesson is a comprehensive lesson plan for ball familiarisation and the ready position in volleyball for complete beginners. It will be most appropriate for year 7 volleyball lessons OR for year 8 lower ability. The lesson includes: fun tasks for students to complete to familiarise themselves with a volleyball, tasks to teach the ready position and game play. This was created to save time for busy teachers and is made so teachers with little/no volleyball experience can teach it just as well as those with lots. You should be able to teach a lesson with minimal preparation and I made these so in most cases they can be just picked up and taught. This lesson has all, most and some outcomes, clear teaching points, afl opportunities and clear explanations of the tasks. There are no timings included as each school can vary in terms of lesson time. They should provide enough tasks for lessons of 40 minutes and above.

This indices BINGO activity is a really fun way of practising index laws. Skills are most appropriate for foundation GCSE and include multiplying, dividing and raising a power to a power (brackets). Show the questions on a Smart Board or projector. Your students will love it and won’t realise how many questions they are answering! Differentiated worksheets on Enlargements for students to complete in class. Skills include positive enlargements, negative enlargements and fractional enlargements all colour coded for difficulty. This is most suitable for Challenging KS3 students and Higher Tier GCSE. I also have a one suitable for KS3 and Foundation tier which only includes positive and fractional scale factors (The questions are different on each version so if you buy both products there are no duplicates). In this product 4 levels of difficulty have been included: Blue (easy) -Enlarge an object by an integer scale factor from a centre of enlargement Gold (medium) -Enlarge an object by a fractional scale factor from a centre of enlargement. Red (hard) -Enlarge and object by a negative scale factor from a centre of enlargement Purple (challenging) Describe fully an enlargement; work out a scale factor and centre of enlargement. This netball lesson is a comprehensive lesson plan for footwork and pivoting in netball for beginners. It will be most appropriate for year 7 netball lessons OR for year 8 lower ability. The lesson includes: learning the names and areas of the position, how to make decisions when passing, game play, AFL quiz quiz trade cards, instructional cards for positions and for centre pass set up (which could also be used as display posters). A lesson on rotations for use in a secondary transformations lessons. Power point and work booklet for teaching rotations are included. Skils covered are rotating a shape around a given point on a square grid, rotating a shape about a set of coordinates and describing the rotation. Time saving resource for busy teachers! You should be able to teach a lesson with hardly any preparation (mainly printing!). Fully differentiated objectives (blue =easiest, gold=medium, red=harder) This resource includes: • A PowerPoint • Differentiated Work booklet that includes self-assessment sections The PowerPoint includes everything you need to teach rotations, including animated examples. The lessons use the following format: • Objective and levels • A “how to teaching portion” with animated examples • An AfL miniwhiteboard quiz • Answers to all the booklet questions • Plenary (with answers) The powerpoint and booklet are currently set up for GCSE maths grade, however you can edit the grades to reflect KS3 or your own schools assessment criteria. In the word booklet if you change any grade (e.g the blue section) it should automatically change the rest of that colour into the same grade. This will take up a whole lesson (between 45mins to 1h 15 dependent on how many questions the students get through)

A set of differentiated worksheets on transformation with a mixture of reflection, enlargement, translation and rotation questions for each difficulty. If you have used my other Transformation worksheets or my unit of work on Transformations this set of worksheets will be good for consolidation or revision. This product will also be included in the Transformation unit of work so if you have purchased it you can download it at no extra cost. There are 12 questions for each difficulty with full solutions - There is at least 3 questions on each topic per colour. Powerpoint lesson with a work booklet and tick or trash AFL activity on the Order of Operations (BIDMAS/BODMAS). Skills covered include - using order of operations without brackets or indices, using it with indices and brackets, inserting brackert into questions to make them correct. Time saving resource for busy teachers! You should be able to teach a lesson with hardly any preparation (mainly printing and maybe some cutting!). Fully differentiated objectives: Blue:Know and use the order of operations with simple calculations (no brackets) Gold:Use the order of operations with more complex calculations including brackets and indices Red:Insert brackets into questions to make them correct, work out questions with more than one set of brackets. This resource includes: • A PowerPoint • A differentiated Work booklet that includes self-assessment sections • A tick or trash activity (this could be done alone or in pairs, or in groups!) You should be able to teach a lesson with minimal preparation and I made these so in most cases they can be just picked up and taught. All lessons have levelled outcomes. The levels are the old national curriculum levels 3-8 however they are easily editable and changeable to your own assessment levels. Each lesson has assessment levels, diagrams, differentiation , clear teaching points, clear task explanations and afl opportunities. This lesson should provide enough tasks for lessons of 40 minutes and above. It follows on from my gymnastics lesson 1- basic shapes(free) . Which you can also use to assess the quality of my work. This Christmas maths codebreaker uses skills learnt in multiplying 4 digits by 2 digits, Rounding to decimal places, rounding to significant figures and simplifying fractions to reveal Christmas jokes. Make your students feel like a spy trying to crack a code in a fun and novel way for students to practise rounding, multiplying and simplifying fractions. UPDATED 16/12/19 - fixed the code box on rounding to decimal places. It was showing the incorrect on on the question sheet. Each skill has a different sheet, so there are 4 total worksheets all with awesome Christmas clip art and answers included. The skills included here are normally taught/covered in lower KS3 but could be used for any year group as a fun consolidation. Students need to answer the questions and find each corresponding letters in order to reveal a christmas joke. Great starter for lessons or to give to early finishers.
