Science has been and always will be a passion of mine.
As a successful science teacher and faculty leader it is my duty to make science accessible and fun for all, increasing prosperity and success within the science industry at a time where we need it most.
These resources are aimed at changing the standard pedagogical approach to teaching and put a new modern touch to delivering science lessons through eye catching yet relevant imagery and questioning to allow independent exploration.

This bundle is aimed at introducing the new year 7 students into KS3 Science at the start of the academic year. I have broken this induction down into 3 lessons:
Lesson 1 - Introductions
Lesson 2 - Health & Safety
Lesson 3 - Equipment
Lesson 1 introduces the students to their new class teacher before showing them what topics they will be studying in Biology, Chemistry and Physics within the Exploring Science curriculum. The lessons then explores some simple classroom/lab rules before guiding students through how to set up their exercise book.
Lesson 2 explores the idea of health and safety in the lab. The Do’s and Don’ts of learning in a science lab followed but a fun and engaging game of ‘Who Wants to Be A Millionaire’ - Science Lab Edition. Students are then introduced into hazard symbols before engaging in a Minion based lab safety poster task.
Lesson 3 gets students learning the names of, handling and drawing a range of scientific lab equipment they will be using during their KS3 experience.
These lessons are accompanied with booklet for students to complete during lesson 2 and 3.
Enjoy.
