Print Handwriting for Adults and Teens - PowerPoint Presentation and Worksheets

(1)
Do your students want to improve their print handwriting? This resource has been created for adults and teens that want their writing to improve to make it clearer and easy to read. This is an essential life skill and will serve them well in the workplace. The Packet contains a PowerPoint interactive presentation with accompanying worksheets for practice contained in an e-book. You can print off the e-book or print off individual practice sheets from the e-book. Topics: What is good handwriting? Vocabulary associated with handwriting Warmup for Writing Letter formation Letter groups Pangrams Form filling Signatures Tips for improving handwriting I often hear people say that they hate their handwriting, or that no one can read it. It is such an important part of communication. Even with email and the internet being a big part of written communication you cannot replace the benefit of a hand written note or message on a card. Not to mention that many workplace forms still need to be filled out manually and it is so important that the writing is clear. I have used this in my workplace training sessions and learners have enjoyed it and noticed improvements within 10 days of practice. I wanted to get away from all the babyish resources that are just not appropriate to teach adults with. I hope you enjoy this.

Borders to use in your Powerpoint Resources Free

(1)
This resource contains 20 plus borders that you can use for free in your Powerpoint resources. They are meant for older children, and adults. This is my first attempt at creating borders. I couldn't find what I was looking for to meet my needs on this site. Most borders on here are great, but too childish for my audience. This is why I have created a free product to see what you think. I would really appreciate your feedback on these. I have also included instructions on how to use these borders with Powerpoint. They are PNG files that need to be inserted and then possibly minor adjustments to sizing depending on your computer setup. I hope you enjoy using them. Please let me know what you think by emailing compcoachab@gmail.com.

Google Drive - Convert a pdf to a Google document to edit it

(1)
This resource contains step by step instructions with screen shots to show how to convert a pdf file to a google document, so that it can be edited. Two methods are outlined. Method one converts directly from Drive and Method 2 involves downloading a google conversion app. The steps are not difficult, but the benefits and time saving of this feature is worthwhile. Note that this does not enable a perfect conversion. It won't work well with large documents that contain a lot of diagrams, tables, or graphics.
