Britpop-1990s Music - FULL LESSON-Distance Learning
This lesson and supporting resources provide a detailed account of the Britpop music genre that started in the early 1990s and grew massively in popularity throughout the mid-1990s with hugely successful bands like Oasis, Blur, Pulp and Supergrass.
It covers the major social and musical elements of this music genre; along with important artists that influenced the style. It also comes with extremely useful listening exercises that link with the presentation/lecture itself, this keeping learner engaged throughout. Moreover, there are also additional listening tasks and student research/investigation into the style of music. Finally, there is a really useful infographic to aid learning support the rest of the resource.
