Statistics – Chi tests for association covers;
Construction of m×n contingency tables

A 12 page presentation that reminds learners about Mean, Median, Mode and range including mean from a frequency table. It also introduces standard deviation and variance and then leads on to linear scaling. The presentation also comes complete with questions and answers.

A 15 page presentation that introduces normal distribution by starting with histograms. The presentation shows learners how to use the standardised normal distribution tables to find percentages and z values.
On the presentation you can move certain parts, like the stats tables, to reveal answers underneath.
Also included is a histogram powerpoint activity that gets the learners to find areas between 1 and 2 standard deviations about the mean.
