Great as a starter, plenary or extension task. As well as being competitive, it forces students to pay attention to all the words they need to make a correct sentence. A 32 page booklet for pupils to complete on Die Verwandlung by Franz Kafka. Includes pages to fill in with information about the main characters, key themes, structure, symbolism and 9 pages of quotes to annotate. Characters pages include descriptions and examples from the book, links to the main themes and their role in the family. Pages are included for the main characters before and after Gregor’s metamorphosis. Themes pages include isolation, love, change, dependence, family responsibility and guilt. There are spaces for pupils to fill in key information on all they know and to cross reference the themes, characters and quotations. Can be used alongside teaching to complete as a booklet to revise from or as a revision tool to see how much they know and where there are gaps in their knowledge. I printed as an A5 booklet and the students really liked the idea of having all their notes in one place. Please note - this is a booklet for students to complete and not a guide with answers.
