Students then watch the clips and use the attached thinking hats resource to write about mumbai . The build on key words using the facts slides (these can be printed out). Finally there is a mumbai postcard activity to apply knowledge which can be carried over or completed for homework.

There are examples of WAGOLL for the main task and the lesson then develop into a structured assessment with the success criteria explained. It also includes some printable resources to be provided for use as research on the assessment tasks.

This introduction lesson shares amazing places and their types of geography a blank world map as an activity to get students locating some famous amazing places. There is an extended writing task where students describe and explain their amazing place.

Year 7 geography. These resources will take up 2- 3 lessons and offer a range of differentiation. They encourage group research and presentation and over 2-3 hours are designed to develop skills as well as build knowledge about the diversity of the UK. Includes all the supplementary resources that are needed to deliver the learning planned and outlined on the slides. I assigned students into groups of 3-4 using Kagan principles. I was observed by my HOD and a lead inspector on this lesson and got an outstanding!
