Version 2 of the WW2 unit made for mixed ability KS3 groups. This version is targeted slightly higher - aimed at the higher/middle sets.

Made for a mixed ability KS3 group - aimed more towards the lower ability students. Contains lessons from the TOV (Treaty of Versailles) to the start of the war, through to the impact on Hull.

Made for my set 1 year 10 but can be amended for lower year groups.

Full Unit on the Tudors Made for mixed ability Y7 Containing lessons from Henry VII to Elizabeth and attached work sheets. Lessons have Mixed ability slides that can be adapted or amended.

Lesson allowing students to learn the different types of Norman Castles and them a presentation lesson attached with relevant resources - aimed at Y7 but could be adapted.

A lesson allowing students to develop their research skills - looking at how the Romans to the Normans changed Hull and what Hull/Beverley/Hessle and other areas look like today. Use of the online Domesday book as well.

Session covers the following: Reasons for the Increase in Poverty Drake’s Achievements Reasons for the Tension between Mary QOS and Elizabeth Leisure Activities between the poor and rich It includes a booklet for students to use and a session for students to follow (session includes answers). Also includes a series of potential questions that could come up on the exam and gives students practice space to answer them/try a paragaph.

Made for students at KS3 but could be adapted.

Students in Y8 completed an essay based answer on the Gun Powder Plotters and if they were the biggest threat to the state. Assessment feedback sheet is complete with a good model answer, a poor model answer, a perfect template created by the teacher, and space for students to correct their own work.
