Valentine’s Day Idioms with the Heart

Fun Valentine’s Day Compliment (praise, positive) letters. Print the document on both sides to have a letter that folds out i.e. the picture of the envelope being on the front and the message inside. Ask your students (children in case of homeschooling) to write positive notes to each other (to siblings/parents) on Valentine’s day and put them into a special mail box. Additional pictures are included to decorate a mail box (e.g. shoe box).

Frying pans have upper case, Pancakes have lower case letters. Cut out all the cards Game 1: Match the frying pan letters with the pancake letters Slight modification to game 1: cut the pancakes into circular shapes. This way children can put the lower case pancake letter into the right frying pan. Game 2: An A4 sheet is provided with blank pancakes. Print it double sided (with letters on the other side). You will have a “Flip the Pancake game” or with 2 copies, a Memory Game.
