This is an excellent project for high school students who are studying about the First World War. It is fun and perfect for engaging students into world history as the students can play a role of a historical figure from the WWI in regard to their individual interests. This project package includes the instructions, rubrics, the list of historical figures from the period, and some additional requirement as shown in the PowerPoint. It is highly entertaining since students are encouraged to pretend like they are the ghosts of their historical figures who will meet other influential people from the WWI to present who they are and their ideas. The whole class can present their speeches like they are having a conversation, but everyone needs to cover all their own points. This activity aims to teach students to think from different points of view and understand political decisions under the different social contexts.
