A math money task for primary school aged children. Children must draw coins thatthey would use to pay for different food items.

A worksheet to introduce KS3 or KS4 students to what to initially look for when they first read a poem. There are questions on the sheet to prompt them to read the poem and then answer the questions including: What the poem is about Why certain words and phrases are used What the mood and atmosphere of the poem is Who the narrator of the poem is. I have purposely left out the title of the poem, as I wanted my group to guess what the object ( the mirror) is.

A lesson so learners can understand the five parts of narrative structure. They will read this short story before breaking it down in 5 parts. Following this they will then begin to plan part 2 of this short story.

This PowerPoint helps to provoke a friendly debate within the classroom. This lesson was delivered as part of a PSHE: British Values Lesson. The focus this week was on democracy.

A two page PPT which includes: the poem, 3 tasks based on the poem and a PEE paragraph questions for KS3 learners to answer.

Their task is to fill in the jigsaw piece with things that represent their identity. Think of it as a Coat of Arms: which is a symbolic representation of an individual’s identity and values. They can add things in such as their hobbies, family, friends, pets, favourite books, TV shows, football teams or future goals.

A one lesson PPT for learners which shows them how to answer both Unseen Poetry questions.
