Mini Thesaurus - English Resource

This resource contains 40 high frequency words, each containing 14 synonyms. They are a great visual resource for creative writing and editing. I hang mine onto my English Working Wall as cute hand-sized packs, which I ring-bind together, after laminating.

Show Don't Tell Me - English Descriptive Writing

(0)
This bundle contains 29 different emotion cards, which can be made into hand-sized resources for descriptive writing. I pin my to my English working wall, as a resource for pupils to use if needed, but they would work on table tops too! Each card has eight sentences, which show an emotion rather than telling how a character feels. So rather than pupils writing: Emmy feels sad… They could utilise the resource to write: Emmy hung her head low. She took a deep, heavy breath out of her trembling lips…

A personal take on the Twinkl classic. I’ve updated the petal clock design, using cursive writing, cute retro prints, the twenty-four hour digits and also the written minutes.
99 Club Space Invaders Display

99 Club Space Invaders Display

This is a super cute display for 99 Club. I went for a space invaders theme because I wanted it to go for retro gaming vibes. I personally like to use hessian and matte laminating pouches, but this will work on a variety of backings. There are over 20 individual parts, including the heading. This display would also work for most times table tracking displays. I’ve also added a display plan of how I envisage it to be hung, but you can experiment with what works best for your display boards! Enjoy!

Enjoy!

Retro Checkboard Groovy Introduction Slides (Blank Template)

This will be my new template for introduction slides this year. I’ve gone for a retro 90s vibe with swirls, checkerboard and disco balls! I hope you love as much as I do. You can screenshot the slides and use as the background for your own powerpoints or even just write straight over the top using your interactive whiteboard pen! Use as many or as little slides as you wish!
My Perfect Classroom Transition Resource

My Perfect Classroom Transition Resource

(0)
I used and created this resource as a transition activity for my pupils to identify what aspects makes their ideal learning environment. I prompted their responses: Do you like a tidy workspace? Do you like to work in silence or have quiet music? Do you like to have team or partner talk? **I also used a flower smiley and a rubik’s cube template - initially the rubik’s was aimed more for the boys, although it proved fan favourite. Not a surprise, as my current class are obsessed with rubik’s cubes - niche right? ** You might also get pupils to cut these out, as a motor skills activity. Anyway, I you like them as much as my Year 5’s did!
